ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner / accused apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under sections 417, 420 and 506(ii) IPC in Crime No.Not known of 2023 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner had an love affair with the defacto complainant and promised to marry and he had also sexual relationship with the victim. Hence, the complaint.

3. The leaned counsel appearing for the petitioners would submit that the petitioner is innocent and he has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution and his name has been falsely implicated in this case and hence, he seeks anticipatory bail.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) would submit that on promising to marry the defacto complainant, the petitioner had sexual intercourse with the victim and subsequently, cheated her. He would further submit that the investigation of the case is pending in CSR.NO.315 of 2023 and hence, he strongly, opposed to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

5. Considering the serious nature of offence committed by the petitioner and also submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
