PRAYER :- For Bail in Cr.No.245 of 2023 on the file of the Respondent Police. 1/4

ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/A1, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 31.08.2023 for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 392,397, 506(ii) of IPC in Crime No.245 of 2023, on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail. 2.The case of the prosecution is that on 31.08.2023 at about 06.30 pm, the petitioner and other accused robbed a cell phone worth about Rs.1500/- from the defacto complainant at knife point and also threatened the defacto complainant with dire consequences. Hence the case.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would contend that the petitioner is innocent and he has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution. He would further submit that the petitioner is in custody from 31.08.2023,hence he seeks bail.

4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent Police would submit that the petitioner and other accused robbed a cell phone worth about Rs.1500/- from the defacto complainant at knife point and also threatened the defacto complainant with dire consequences. He would further submit that 21 2/4

previous cases are pending against the petitioner, hence he objected to grant bail to the petitioner.

5.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also considering the gravity of offence committed by the petitioner and also considering the previous bad antecedents of the petitioner , this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

6. Hence the petition stands dismissed.
