This Criminal Original Petition had been filed to direct the Respondent Police to file the final report in Crime No.312 of 2022 pending on the file of the Respondent Police.

2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the Respondent/Investigation Officer submitted that it is a case and counter and the investigation in this case is in progress. Hence, the Investigation Officer seeks further period of three months to complete the investigation and file the final report.

3.The submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor is recorded. The Investigation Officer is directed to expedite the process of investigation and file the final report within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order as undertaken by him/her. 4.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
