ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to direct the 1st respondent to depute any other Inspector of Police other than the 2nd respondent to investigate the case in Crime No.17/2019 on the file of the 2nd respondent and file a final report in accordance with law.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that even after registering the First Information Report, the second respondent police did not take any steps to file final report.

3. The learned Government Advocate(Crl. Side) would submit that https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

Crl.O.P.(MD)No.18019 of 2019 investigation is under progress and they will file the final report soon after the completion of the investigation before the concerned Court.

4.Considering the facts and circumstance of the case, this Court directs the second respondent police to complete the investigation in Crime No.17of 2019 pending on his file as expeditiously as possible and file final report. Further the Assistant Commissioner of Police, Cantonment , Trichy City is directed to monitor the investigation done by the second respondent

5. With the above direction, the Criminal Original Petition is closed.
