Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the 2nd respondent to complete the speedy enquiry on the complaint of the petitioner dated 07.02.2025 and to take necessary action in accordance with law within the time stipulated.

ORDER

The petitioner has filed this Writ Petition seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent to complete the speedy enquiry on the complaint of the petitioner, dated 07.02.2025 and to take necessary action in accordance with law.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, would submit that on the basis of the complaint lodged by the petitioner's brother, an FIR had been registered against the petitioner. As a counterblast, the petitioner lodged the present complaint and after due enquiry, the same was closed by the second respondent. He would further submit that the result of the said enquiry will be communicated to the petitioner forthwith.

3. In view of the above submissions, there shall be a direction to the second respondent to communicate the result of the aforesaid enquiry to the petitioner forthwith. Upon receipt of the same, it is open to the petitioner to challenge the said report in the manner known to law. 2/4

4. With the above direction and liberty, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
