For Petitioner :Mr.K.Rajeshwaran For Respondents :No appearance C O M M ON O R D E R These contempt petitions are filed that the orders of this Court in WP(MD) Nos.2754 & 2780 of 2018 dated 06.12.2022 have not been complied with.
2.Today(08.12.2023), when these contempt petitions are taken up for hearing, there is no representation for the respondents. However, in the earlier occasion, the learned counsel for the respondents submitted that the Division Bench of this Court has seized of the matter in WA(MD) Nos. 859 to 863 of 2013 and directed the Government to acquire the land which is required for public purpose. The Court has also passed an order till the acquisition proceedings are over, there cannot be any sub division, mutation of revenue records, grant/cancellation of patta under the relevant provisions of the statutes.
