Respondent Prayer:-Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to issue joint patta in favour of the petitioner and other legal heirs of his father viz., Mr.Sivan Nattar in respect of the land in Kerala vallanadu Village, Srivaikundam Taluk, Tuticorin District, purchased in and by the sale deed dated 24.11.1948 and registered as Document No.2338 of 1948 on the file of the SubRegistrar, Murapanadu in the name of the said Mr.Sivan Nattar, by considering his representation dated 26.08.2019 within the period that may be fixed by this Court.

ORDER

Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that joint patta has been issued in favour of the petitioner. Therefore, nothing survives for adjudication in this writ petition.

2.In view of the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
