ORDER

The instant writ petition has been filed by a Junior Draughtsman seeking a mandamus as against the second respondent to promote the petitioner as Grade-II Work Inspector instead of Grade-III Work Inspector from the date of his appointment and to confer all the monetary benefits based upon her representation dated 20.09.2024.

2.It could be seen from the records that the representation of the writ petitioner to the third respondent has been rejected by way of proceedings dated 26.07.2024. Challenging the said order, the petitioner has filed an appeal before the second respondent herein on 03.06.2020. Thereafter, the petitioner has sent a representation to the second respondent on 20.09.2024. 3.According to the learned Counsel appearing for the writ petitioner, similarly placed persons have been conferred with the said benefits. However, the petitioner is being discriminated. Without going into the merits of the case, 2/4

this Court directs the second respondent herein to consider the representation of the writ petitioner dated 20.09.2024 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4.With the above said observations, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
