Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2. The petitioner was working as Co-operative Sub Registrar. He was dismissed from service vide order dated 30.11.2020. Questioning the same, the petitioner has filed an appeal before the first respondent. The first respondent is directed to dispose of the petitioner's appeal on merits and in accordance with law within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. I make it clear that I have not gone into the merits of the matter. While the fate of the petitioner will have to necessarily await the outcome of the appeal order, certain benefits such as leave salary etc., cannot be withheld in any event. The respondents are directed to make ready the proposal and ensure that the eligible amounts are disbursed to the petitioner in the meanwhile. This writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
