The present Writ Petition has been filed for Mandamus, directing the respondents to ensure that the post of Director and Administrative Officer of Thanjavur Maharaja Saraboji's Saraswathi Mahal Library is filled at once for effective and efficient administration of Library.

2. The prayer in the present Writ Petition has become infructuous, since the Government had already appointed the Administrative Officer of Thanjavur Maharaja Saraboji's Saraswathi Mahal Library, through G.O.No.522, School Education Department, dated 16.09.2024. Hence, the Writ Petition stands closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
