ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for 1/3
the offences punishable under Sections 394, 395 and 506(ii) of IPC in Crime No.1143 of 2023 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail. 2.The case of the prosecution is that on 14.09.2023, when the defacto complainant was standing in Karisalkulam bus stand, two unknown persons came in a two wheeler and snatched the mobile phone of the defacto complainant at knife point. They also snatched one sovereign gold chain, two gram gold ring and another mobile phone from the defacto complainant and also assaulted him. Hence, the case.
3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners would submit that the petitioners are innocent persons and they did not commit any offence as alleged by the prosecution. Hence, he seeks anticipatory bail. 4.The learned Government Advocate(Crl.side) appearing for the respondent police would submit that the petitioner and other accused snatched the belongings of the defacto complainant at knife point. She would further submit that the investigation is not yet completed. Hence, she objected to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

5.On perusal of FIR, it is noticed that the petitioner and other accused robbed the defacto complainant at knife point and also assaulted him. In view of the seriousness of the offence, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
