This Writ Petition falls within a very limited compass. The petitioner seeks disposal of the appeal pending before the third respondent within a reasonable time.

2. Learned Special Government Pleader accepts notice on behalf of respondents 1 to 4. He submits that the revenue records reveal the name of the fourth respondent as the owner of the land in Survey No.609/2022.

3. Given the nature of the relief claimed, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the third respondent is directed to consider and dispose of the petitioner's appeal, dated 01.07.2024 within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, 2/4

after providing a reasonable opportunity to the petitioner and the fifth respondent.

4. Since the third respondent has been directed to provide a reasonable opportunity, this Writ Petition is being disposed of without notice to the private respondent.
