ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent Police for the alleged offence under Sections 24(1) of Cigarette and Other Tobacco Products 1/3

Act, 2003 and Section 77 of the Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection) Act, 2015, in Crime No.436 of 2024, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner and the other accused were found to be in illegal possession of banned tobacco products. Hence, the complaint.

3. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the material records of the case.

4. Considering the nature of allegation in the case that the banned tobacco products was recovered from A-1, who is said to have mention that the petitioner herein, who is her brother's son is only coming and purchasing the products from Senkottai and therefore, the nature of allegation requires custodial interrogation as to find out who is the supplier, this is not a fit case for grant of anticipatory bail.
