Mr.V.R.Shanmuganathan, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice on behalf of the respondents 1 & 2. Mr.C.Guhaseelarupan, learned counsel takes notice on behalf of the third respondent. 2.This writ petition has been filed to direct the 2nd respondent to consider the claim of the petitioner to solemnize the 9th day Panguni Thiruvizha festival of Sri Arulmighu Narumbu Nathaswamy Thirukovil, Palavoor, Tirunelveli District by the Pudur Thevar Community on the basis of the representation and its enclosures submitted on 19.6.2019 forthwith.
3.The petitioner claims that he is entitled to do 9th day Panguni Thiruvizha festival of Sri Arulmighu Narumbu Nathaswamy Thirukovil, Palavoor, Tirunelveli District. According to him, there are some disturbances in conducting the festival this year. Therefore, he made a representation to the respondents on 19.06.2019. Hence, he seeks a relief on that representation. 4.Mr.C.Guhaseelan Rupan, learned counsel appearing for the third respondent submits that the competent authority is the second respondent, to whom, the petitioner has already made a representation and now, he is waiting for an order from him. 5.Considering the above submission, without going into the merits of the case, a direction is given to the second respondent to consider and dispose of the representation made by the petitioner on 19.06.2019 within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
