ORDER

The Writ Petition has been filed, invoking Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking orders, to direct the respondents 1 and 3 to give police protection for the petitioner's life and property while constructing the house by considering his representation, dated 30.09.2024 and 18.10.2024.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State would submit that the petitioner and the fifth respondent are Pangalis; that the fifth respondent has been obstructing the construction of the petitioner and he lodged a complaint and on that basis, CSR.No.471 of 2024 came to be registered and enquiry is pending. He would submit that the petitioner was directed to appear for enquiry through phone, but he has not turned up. 2/4

3. Recording the same, the third respondent is directed to issue notice to the petitioner as well as the private respondent and conduct enquiry and take a decision within a period of ten days from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
