This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to respondents Nos.1 and 2 to provide adequate police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner by considering the petitioner's representation dated 28.08.2023.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent Police on instructions submitted that an enquiry was conducted and based on the same, an FIR came to be registered in Crime No.210 of 2024. The investigation was completed and the police report was filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.V, Madurai on 14.08.2024.
