And East-West 16 1⁄2 sq. ft. out of 75 cents in Re-Survey No.89/4 in Mettu Neerathan Village, Vadipatti Taluk, Madurai District on the basis of her representation, dated 27.03.2019 given to the 4th respondent. ORDER

This writ petition is filed for issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to issue patta to the petitioner. 2.The petitioner has filed a sale deed, dated 27.06.2007 and his prior title deed namely another sale deed, dated 26.05.1961. Based on the documents of title relied upon by the petitioner, the petitioner submitted a representation to the respondent, dated 27.03.2019.

3.Though the petitioner has prayed for a positive direction to direct the respondents to issue patta to the petitioner relating to the suit property purchased by him, the learned counsel for the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P.(MD).No.25522 of 2019 petitioner submitted that the petitioner will be satisfied, if a direction is issued to the respondents to consider his representation, dated 27.03.2019 and to pass appropriate orders on merits within a stipulated time.

4.Having regard to the limited scope of prayer that is now sought for before this Court by the learned counsel for the petitioner, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the representation, this Court is inclined to issue the following direction.

i)The third respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 27.03.2019 and to pass appropriate orders on merits in accordance with law after hearing persons interested if there is any objection or rival claim within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

ii)For convenience, the petitioner may also submit further representation along with the copy of this order. 5.With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
