Respondents Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to conduct survey and subdivision of Survey No.1091/11, Thippanampatti Village, Tenkasi Taluk, Tenkasi District admeasuring 27 cents, on the basis of the petitioner's application dated 09.08.2024 and consequently direct the first respondent to issue joint patta to the petitioner within a time frame that may be stipulated by this Court. ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for a mandamus to the respondents to conduct survey and subdivision of Survey No.1091/11, Thippanampatti Village, Tenkasi Taluk, Tenkasi District admeasuring 27 cents, on the basis of the petitioner's application dated 09.08.2024 and consequently, direct the first respondent to issue joint patta to the petitioner.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the date for survey is fixed on 06.11.2024 and a notice in this regard has also been issued to the petitioner and the adjacent land owners.

3. In view of the above submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader, this Writ Petition is disposed of, however, with a

direction that the survey shall be completed within a period of four weeks from the date of survey. No costs.
