This Criminal Original Petition had been filed to direct the learned Special Judge, Special Court for Protection of Civil Rights (PCR), Thoothukudi, to accept the Petitioner's surrender in connection with Crime No.87 of 2022 on the file of the first Respondent and consider his bail application on the same day in accordance with law. 2.The Petitioner is the accused for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 323, 324, 341, 294(b), 506(ii) of IPC r/w Sections 3(i)(r), 3(i)(s) & 3(2)(va) of SC/ST (PoA) Amendment Act, 2015, in Crime No.87 of 2022, pending on the file of the first Respondent Police and apprehending arrest, he has filed the present Petition.

3. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials available on record.

4. Considering the nature of offences alleged against the Petitioner, this Criminal Original Petition is allowed. The Petitioner is directed to surrender before the learned Special Judge, Special Court for Protection of 2/4

Civil Rights (PCR), Thoothukudi, within a period of 15 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order or 15 days from the date of uploading the order copy on the website of this Court. The learned Judge shall consider the bail application of the Petitioner and dispose of the same as per law.
