disconnection viz on 20.08.2025 till the date of restoration of the electricity connection.

ORDER

This writ petition is filed for a mandamus to direct the respondents to restore the electricity connection of the petitioner bearing Electricity connection No.07186014801 and after restoration of the electricity connection waive the electricity charges for the period from the date of disconnection viz on 20.08.2025 till the date of restoration of the electricity connection.

2. It is seen that Tamil Nadu Pollution Control Board vide proceedings No.T5/TNPCB/F.012605/NGL/W/2025, dated 13.08.2025 directed closure of the unit and disconnection of power supply. The same is yet to be challenged by the petitioner.

3. The petitioner shall file an appeal as against the above said order, dated 13.08.2025 and subject to the outcome of the appeal, shall approach the TANGEDCO for electricity connection and for waiver.

4. In view of the above, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
