O R D E R

The present Writ Petition has been filed by a B.T. Assistant (Maths) Teacher seeking a mandamus directing the first respondent to approve for appointment of the petitioner with effect from 18.11.2015.

2. According to the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner, the writ petitioner was appointed as B.T.Assistant (Maths) Teacher in the third respondent School on 18.11.2015. The proposals have been forwarded to the first respondent herein on 17.11.2015 and the proposals were returned by the first respondent on various occasions due to some defects in the said application. Finally, the entire information sought for by the first respondent has been furnished on 04.08.2023. As on today, the papers are pending before the first respondent herein.

3. In view of the above said facts, the first respondent is directed to pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. Accordingly, this writ petition stands allowed to the extent as stated above. There shall be no order as to costs.
