ORDER

The Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking orders to direct the Judicial Magistrate, Melur to dispose the trial in M.C.No.15 of 2023 within the time stipulated by this Court.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner for herself and on behalf of her minor son have laid a 1/4

maintenance claim under Section 125 Cr.P.C. and the same is pending in M.C.No.15 of 2023 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate, Melur. He would further submit that the petitioner's son is suffering from seizure disorder and the petitioner is unable to meet out his medical expenses. He would further submit that the respondent has already filed counter and that the case is being adjourned again and again without any progress.

3. Considering the above facts and circumstances and also taking note of the ill health of the petitioner's son, the learned Judicial Magistrate, Melur is directed to proceed with the enquiry in M.C.No.15 of 2023 and dispose of the same within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
