ORDER

The Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 528 B.N.S.S., seeking orders to direct the first respondent to instruct the second respondent to ensure the life and limb of the petitioner and his family member from the hands of the respondents 3 to 6 and provide adequate police protection to them, based on the petitioner's representation dated 03.10.2024.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 would submit that the petitioner is the husband of the third respondent, that there existed matrimonial dispute between the parties, that the petitioner has filed a divorce petition, whereas, the third respondent has expressed willingness to live with the petitioner and that on the basis of the complaint given by the petitioner, CSR No.1699 of 2/4

2024 came to be registered and at the enquiry, after coming to know about the DVOP and the divorce petition are pending and the parties have informed that they would sort out their issues before the concerned Court, the same was closed.

3. Recording the same, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of. The petitioner is at liberty to take appropriate proceedings in the manner known to law.
