JUDGMENT

This appeal is preferred as against the Judgment passed in S.C.No.34 of 2021, dated 05.09.2022, on the file of the Fast Track Mahila Court, Virudhunagar District at Srivilliputhur. 2.Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent submitted that while pending the appeal, the appellant/second accused died on 01.10.2024 and he also produced the proceedings of the Superintendent of Prisons, Central Prison, Madurai, in No.R1/2896/2024, dated 11.11.2024 to that effect. Therefore, nothing survives for adjudication in this Criminal Appeal. 2/4

3.In view of the above, this Criminal Appeal is dismissed as abated.
