ORDER

This writ petition is filed for a direction directing the 1st respondent to pass orders on the petitioner's appeal dated 10.12.2018 against the order passed by the 2nd respondent in Na.Ka.No.A1/6633/2018 dated 08.11.2018 in accordance with law. 2.The petitioner has preferred an appeal before the first respondent against the order passed by the second respondent herein/Sub Collector, Kanyakumari District, imposing penalty, which is in violation of certain provisions contemplated under the Mines and Minerals (Development and Regulation) Act, 1957; the Tamil Nadu https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P.(MD)No.25377 of 2019 Minor Minerals Concession Rules, 1959 and the Tamil Nadu Prevention of Illegal Mining Transportation and Storage of Minerals and Minerals Dealers Rule, 2011. The said appeal was filed on 10.12.2018 and the same is pending without any disposal. Aggrieved over the delay in disposing of the appeal, the petitioner is before this Court.

3.Considering the submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioner, a direction is given to the first respondent to dispose of the appeal dated 10.12.2018 within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4.The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
