O R D E R

This Writ Petition is filed to direct the respondent to include the candidature of the petitioner in the provisional selection list for the post of Post Graduate Assistant (Chemistry) in the direct recruitment process for the post of 'Post Graduate Assistants/Physical Education Directors Grade I' in School Education and other departments for the year 2018-2019, within a stipulated time frame as fixed by this Court.

2. Mr.V.R.Shanmuganathan, learned counsel takes notice on behalf of the respondent. By consent of both parties, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

3. According to the petitioner, she has attended the written test conducted by the respondent Board for direct recruitment to the post of 'Post Graduate Assistants/Physical Education Directors Grade I', in School Education and other departments for the year 2018-2019, as per its notification No.10 of 2019 dated 12.06.2019. W.P.(MD) No.25642 of 2019 and name did not find place in the tentative provisional selection list for chemistry subject, issued by the respondent on 20.11.2019. While the petitioner approached the respondent for rectifying the mistake crept in the provisional list for chemistry subject, there was no positive reply from them. Hence, the petitioner was left with no other alternate and has come out with the present Writ Petition.

Considering the nature of relief sought for by the petitioner and without going into the merits of the case, this Court directs the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 23.11.2019, on merits and pass appropriate orders, in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous petition is closed.
