ORDER
The Writ Petition in W.P.(MD)No.25636 of 2024 has been filed, invoking Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking orders to directing the respondents herein to grant permission and to provide police protection for conducting the Sports Competition, Elocution Competition and Essay Competition for school boys and girls from 31.10.2024 to 02.11.2024 on the occasion of the Deepavali festival at Kundenthalpatti Village, by considering the petitioner's representation, dated 14.10.2024.

The Writ Petition in W.P.(MD)No.25838 of 2024 has been filed, invoking Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking orders to forbearing the official respondents from granting permission to conduct the Sports and Games events arranged by the private respondent herein without participation of the petitioner and others which is to be held between 30.10.2024 and 03.11.2024 at Kundendhalpatti Village, 3/6
Thiruppathur Taluk, Sivagangai District based on the petitioner's representation, dated 05.10.2024.
3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State would submit that on the basis of the complaint given by the petitioner in WP(MD)No.25636 of 2024, enquiry is pending.
4. The learned counsel for the petitioner in WP(MD)No.25838 of 2024, has raised objections mainly on the ground that the petitioner in WP(MD)No.25636 of 2024 and his team had refused to receive the contribution from the petitioner in WP(MD)No.25838 of 2024 and also not permitting their children to take part in the competitions to be conducted.
5. At this juncture, the learned counsel for the petitioner in WP(MD)No.25636 of 2024 would submit that they are having enough money from the Alazhu Natichiamman Temple funds and that they are ready to permit the petitioner in WP(MD)No.25838 of 2024 and others to participate in the competition.

6. Recording the same, the second respondent is directed to give permission, if the petitioners in both petitions are ready to conduct the tournament jointly.
7. With the above direction, the Writ Petitions stand disposed of. No costs.
