JUDGMENT
[Judgment of the Court was made by R.SUBRAMANIAN, J.] Mr.S.R.A.Ramachandran, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondent.
2.We are not inclined to interfere the order of transfer, which is sought to be interfered with. It is seen from the proceedings that the petitioner was working in Kodaikanal Range was transferred to Mannavanur Sector and within six months, he was re-transferred to Kodaikannal Range. Though the learned counsel for the appellant would claim that transfer is punitive in nature, we do not find any material to support his contention. Moreover, Kodaikanal and Mannavanur are very nearby places. Therefore, there is no possibility of any physical discomfort to the petitioner.
3.Hence, the Writ Appeal is dismissed. No Costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
