O R D E R

The present Writ Petition has been filed by a suspended Secretary of the second respondent Co-operative Society, seeking a Mandamus to revoke the order of suspension.

2. The petitioner was placed under suspension on 16.04.2024 and according to him, enquiry has been substantially completed. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner has further submitted that the petitioner is about to retire next year and therefore, he seeks for revocation of the order of suspension.

3. Per contra, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submits that the enquiry is not yet been completed. He further submits that there are serious allegations as against the writ petitioner relating to misappropriation of society funds. Hence, he prayed for dismissal of the writ petition.

4. Considering the above said facts, the first respondent herein is directed to complete the enquiry and pass final orders on or before 28.02.2025.

5. With the above said observations, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
