Side) O RDER This petition has been filed seeking to quash the impugned FIR in Crime No.16 of 2022 on the file of the Inspector of Police, Andipatti Police Station, 2.The contention of the petitioner is that based on the complaint lodged by the 2nd respondent, the 1st respondent registered the First Information Report in Crime No.16 of 2022 for the offences punishable under Sections 417, 420 and 120B of IPC, against the petitioner. Seeking quashment of the same on various grounds this petition has been filed.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that after completing the investigation, final report was presented before the Judicial Magistrate, Theni, and the same was taken on file in C.C.No.559 of 2023. 2/4

4.In view of the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the prayer sought for in this petition has become infructuous. The petitioner is at liberty to workout his remedy through appropriate proceedings, if aggrieved by the contents of the final report. 5.Accordingly, this criminal original petition stands dismissed as infructuous with the above said liberty. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
