ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition is filed to direct the second respondent to complete investigation and file a final report (charge sheet) in Crime No.2204/2019 dated 22.12.2019 within the time stipulated by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side).

3. It is seen that earlier a report was called for from the trial Court as to whether charge sheet was filed. A report is received from the trial Court stating that final report was filed on 25.10.2023 in Crime No.2204 of 2019 along with statement of witnesses. The same was returned by the trial Court by stating that as per the notification issued by the Hon'ble Apex Court, charge sheet has to be filed through online. Thereafter, it was not filed.

4. In view of the submissions, the petitioner is at liberty to work out remedy through appropriate proceedings, after receiving the copy of the RCS notice. Let a fresh notice be served upon the petitioner.

5. With this direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
