ORDER
The Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 528 B.N.S.S., seeking orders to direct the second respondent not to harass the petitioners.

The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents would submit that one Ashok Kumar, who is the brother of the first petitioner and son of the second petitioner, was involved in three NDPS cases, that the said Ashok Kumar was earlier arrested in one case and released on bail and subsequently he was involved in two other cases and is absconding, that the second respondent went to the house of the petitioners in search of the said Ashok Kumar and that thereafter they have filed the present petition.
3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners would submit that the police personnel has directed the petitioners to appear before them and the petitioners were forced to appear along with a child. 2/4
4. Since the said Ashok Kumar is absconding, the petitioners are duty bound to disclose the whereabouts of the said Ashok Kumar to the police. But at the same time, under the guise of searching the said Ashok Kumar, the respondents have absolutely no right to harass the petitioners directing them to appear before the concerned police.
5. With the above observation, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
