ORDER

The Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 528 B.N.S.S., seeking orders, to direct the respondent police not to harass the petitioner and his family members under the guise of enquiry.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State.

3. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State would submit that the petitioner is having five previous cases, in which, two cases are pending investigation. He would further submit that the police included the petitioner's name H.S.No.276 of 2024 and that the petitioner is under watch.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that under the guise of watch, on 21.09.2024, the police personnel came to the house of the petitioner during night hours and taken away the cell phone of the petitioner's father.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the respondent police is directed not to harass the petitioner.

6. In view of the above, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
