P.Murugesan, No.41/14, Kamarajar Road, Melakalkandar Kottai, Tiruchirappalli District Respondent(s) This case came up for settlement before the Lok Adalat. Both the parties present.

The counsel for the appellant/s Mr.S.Venkatesh and the counsel for the respondent Mr.B.Jameelarasu,are present. After mutual discussion, negotiation, mediation and conciliation between both parties and with the assistance of the Bench, both sides consented for settlement.

AWARD This Criminal Revision is preferred against the judgment delivered by the II Additional District Judge, Trichy in Crl.A.No.110 of 2017 dated 10.08.2022.

2. The learned Judicial Magistrate No.VI, Trichy in STC.No.1969/2012 dated 26.10.2017 has convicted the revision petitioner and sentenced to undergo simple imprisonment for one year and to pay a compensation of Rs.8,00,000/- to the complainant under section 357 Cr.P.C. Within three months and in default of the payment of the said amount the accused has to undergo simple imprisonment for three months. The above said conviction and sentence was confirmed by the II Additional District Judge, Trichy in Crl.A.No.110 of 2017 dated 10.08.2022. Aggrieved over the same, this Criminal Revision case has been filed.

3. Both parties present. They agreed for one time settlement for a sum of Rs. 3,50,000/- ( Rupees Three Lakhs Fifty Thounsand only) as full quit. It is stated by the learned counsel for the respondent that the respondent has received the said amount by way of Demand Draft bearing No.002505 HDFC Bank, Madurai Anna Nagar Branch, dated 12.09.2025. The condition imposed by this Court in Crl.M.P. (MD) No.14879 of 2022 dated 01.12.2022 is also set aside.

4. The matter is posted before the regular court for setting aside the conviction and sentence.
