name of the petitioner based upon the representation of petitioner dated 20.09.2024 and in light of the proceedings of the third respondent in Na.Ka.A.7/2679/2022 dated 15.11.2021.

ORDER

Though the petitioner had made an application to the respondents for issue of patta as early as in the year 2021 and the Tahsildar, Palayamkottai had submitted a report to the District Revenue Officer, Tirunelveli recommending transfer of patta, no progress whatsoever has been made and aggrieved thus, the petitioner seeks a mandamus to the respondents.

2. Considering the request of the petitioner and the fact that his application has been pending on the file of the fourth respondent since the year 2021, which was once again reiterated on 20.09.2024 and no positive action has been taken, a mandamus is issued to the fourth

respondent to consider the petitioner's application dated 12.07.2021 and pass orders within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and by also considering the report of the Tahsildar, Palaymkottai.

3. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is allowed. No costs.
