ORDER
This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction, directing the second respondent to provide adequate police protection for conducting Kumbaabishegam and temple festival at Iyyanar Temple, Elangudipatty, Thekattur Village, Thirumayam Taluk and Pudukkottai District.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that there was a dispute between the petitioner and other villagers in respect of conducting Kumbaabishegam and temple festival at Iyyanar Temple, Elangudipatty, Thekattur Village.

W.P.(MD)No.25511 of 2019 respondents submitted that the Thasildar, Thirumayam Taluk conducted peace committee meeting. On the said meeting, the Thasildar, Thirumayam Taluk, directed the parties to settle the issue themselves and submit a report within a period of 15 days. He also submitted that whether the parties resolved the issue or not, till then, no report was filed.

The learned counsel for the petitioner states that they resolved the dispute between them and seeking police protection on the complaint dated 05.09.2019 before the second respondent. 5.Considering the above facts and circumstances of the case, the second respondent is directed to conduct enquiry on the complaint lodged by the petitioner dated 05.09.2019, after issuing notice to the counter parties and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
