PRAYER : Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C, to issue an order of direction, to direct the respondents 1 to 3 to provide adequate police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner and his wife and also to the petitioner's properties based on the petitioner's representation dated 07.10.2023 1/4

Side) O RDER This criminal original petition has been filed seeking direction to the respondents 1 to 3 to provide adequate police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner and his wife and also to the petitioner's properties based on the petitioner's representation dated 07.10.2023 within the time limit that may be stipulated by this Court.

2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) would submit that the representation dated 07.10.2023 given by the petitioner is pending before the respondent police in C.S.R.No.618 of 2023 and it will be enquired by them as soon as possible. 3.Let the above said representation dated 07.10.2023, be enquired and disposed of by the respondent police within a period of fifteen days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, by summoning the petitioner as well as the 2/4

counter parties by finding out the ground situation. Depending upon the outcome of the enquiry, the parties shall workout their remedies through appropriate proceedings.

4.With the above said directions, this criminal original petition stands disposed of.
