PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to disburse the petitioner's difference amount of Salary, Gratuity, Surrender Leave, Provident Fund, Pensions Arrears and to revise Pensions on the basis of 12(3) Settlement dated 24.08.2022 along with 6% interest and pass such further or other orders as this Court.

ORDER

The instant writ petition has been filed by a retired employee of the respondent transport corporation seeking the benefits of 14th wage settlement dated 24.08.2022.

2.According to the learned Counsel appearing for the writ petitioner, the said benefits were settled on those employees who were in service on 01.09.2019. Seeking the above said benefits, the petitioner has sent a representation on 01.08.2024. Since the same has not been considered, the instant writ petition has been filed.

3.Considering the above said facts, the respondents herein are directed to release the eligible benefits to the writ petitioner with 6% interest from the due date till the date of disbursement within the period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4.With the above said observations, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
