This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to quash the FIR in Crime No.388 of 2022, dated 19.07.2022 on the file of the second respondent.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) for the first and second respondents, on instructions, would submit that the investigation has been completed and the final report has been filed before the Special Court for Exclusive Trial of Cases under POCSO Act, Madurai on 01.07.2024, and the same is yet to be taken on file.

3. In view of the aforesaid submissions, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous with liberty to the petitioner to challenge the said final report, if so advised. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
