ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by S.M.SUBRAMANIAM, J.) The relief sought for in the present writ petition is to direct the first respondent to direct the respondents 4 to 6 to remove the encroachments in the water course and in the Srikulam which is in S.No.498, Rajakkapatti Village, Dindigul East Taluk, Dindigul District. based on notice issued by the sixth respondent under Section 7 of the Tamil Nadu Land Encroachment Act, 1905. 2/5

2. The learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3, on instructions, would submit that the survey is proposed to be conducted on 14.08.2025.

3. In view of the said submission, the Officials are directed to complete the survey and initiate enforcement action, if any encroachments are identified. It is needless to state that the procedures contemplated under the relevant statutes are to be scrupulously followed by affording an opportunity to all the parties including the encroachers. The said exercise shall be completed within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
