The Writ Petition has been filed seeking orders to direct the respondents to grant permission and give police protection to conduct Maamannar Maruthupandiyar Gurupoojai celebration on 27.10.2024 in pursuant to the Maamannar Maruthupandiyar Gurupoojai celebration at Mariyur, Kandukondaanmanikam, Narikudi, Virudhunagar based on the writ petitioner's representation dated 16.10.2024.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw this petition and he has also made an endorsement to that effect.
