O R D E R

The present Writ Petition has been filed by a Seasonal Bill Clerk working in Civil Supplies Corporation, seeking a Mandamus to consider his representation for reinstatement in service.

2. A perusal of the typed set of papers reveals that the petitioner was disengaged by the Civil Supplies Corporation on 10.03.2021, pursuant to his implication in a criminal case. The petitioner has given a representation on 30.09.2024 for reinstatement. The respondents have passed an order on 03.10.2024, informing the petitioner that his request for reinstatement could be considered only after the disposal of the criminal case. The petitioner has again sent a representation on 30.09.2024 and filed the present writ petition.

3. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents.

4. Considering the fact that the petitioner has been arrested by the Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Department and he has been disengaged by 2/4

the Civil Supplies Corporation on 10.03.2021, the request of the petitioner for reinstatement in service cannot be considered by the respondent Corporation, at this point of time. It is open to the petitioner to approach the respondent Corporation as and when the criminal case is disposed of. 5.With the above said observations, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
