Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 5 herein to probe enquiry and take necessary action as against the respondents 7 to 10 herein on the basis of the Criminal Cases registered against them by the 6th respondent herein on the basis of the representation made by the petitioner before them by RPAD dated 10.11.2022.

O R D E R

[Order of the Court was made by R.SUBRAMANIAN, J.] Prayer in the Writ Petition reads as follows:- ''To issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 5 herein to probe enquiry and take necessary action as against the respondents 7 to 10 herein on the basis of the Criminal Cases registered against them by the 6th respondent herein on the basis of the representation made by the petitioner before them by RPAD dated 10.11.2022.''

2.It is stated that two of the FIRs filed have been closed as mistake of fact and as such in one of the FIRs, the Director of Vigilance and Anti-Corruption has recommended for dropping of action and the same is pending with the Commissioner, HR & CE Department. It is also seen that the HR & CE Department has also issued charge memos to the alleged delinquent officials.

3.Leaving it open to the Department to conduct an enquiry, this Writ Petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs. NCC : No [R.S.M., J.] & [L.V.G., J.] Index : No 21.10.2024 MR
