This writ petition has been filed for the issue of writ of mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 3 to take appropriate action as against the respondents 5 to 8 since according to the petitioner, he and his family members were excommunicated from the village.

2. When the matter came up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor (Criminal Side) submitted the file which shows that the enquiry that was conducted in petition no.109 of 2022. Both sides were called and both the sides informed the police that the issue will be discussed among themselves and they will find a solution. Mr.P.Kalyanasundaram, Special Sub Inspector of Police, Pudukkottai Police Station, Tuticorin District, who was present at the time of hearing before this Court, also informed this Court that there was no problem 3/5

caused to the petitioner or his family members and the parties are living amicably till date.
