This Writ Petition is filed to direct the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 25.10.2019, and also direct the first respondent to give her a salary at the regular scale of pay of Rs.4,800/- Rs.10,000/-+ Grade pay Rs.1,300/- with effect from her date of joining i.e 30.10.2014, within a stipulated time frame as fixed by this Court.

2. Mr.M.Jeyakumar, Additional Government Pleader takes notice on behalf of the respondents. By consent of both parties, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

According to the petitioner, she was appointed as sweeper in the respondent Department as per the 4th respondent's order dated 30.10.2014 in Order No.157/2014 and her service was also regularized subsequently. On regularization of her service, she was paid a salary at the special scale of pay of Rs.1300 + Grade pay Rs.300/- totalling to Rs.6,444/-. Further, she came to know that as per order of this Court in WP (MD) No.17663 of 2014, the scavengers, who are working in School Education Department were given the special scale of pay of Rs.4800- Rs.10,000/- + Grade pay Rs.1,300/-. The failure of the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 25.10.2019 in this regard, leads the petitioner to approach this Court by way of filing the present Writ petition.

4. Considering the nature of relief sought for by the petitioner and without going into the merits of the case, this Court directs the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 25.10.2019, on merits and pass appropriate orders, in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is ordered. No costs.
