Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents No. 2 and 3 to cancel the legal heir certificate in Certificate No. TN-720210925578 dated 26.10.2021 and consequently direct the respondents No. 2 and 3 to issue a fresh Legal Heir Certificate including the petitioners name and his three sisters namely 1.Sithi Ayisha (Died), 2.Rahmath Nisha and 3. Fathima Begam. For Petitioner : Mr.K.Arunraj For Respondents : Mr.K.S.Selvaganesan Additional Government Pleader for R1 to R3 : Mr.C.M.Arumugam for R4 to R9

ORDER

Heard both sides.

2. It appears that earlier the legal heir certificate issued in favour of the private respondents was cancelled. The first part of the writ prayer has become infructuous.

3. As regards the second part of the writ prayer, the petitioner is permitted to give a fresh application. The third respondent will conduct enquiry and issue notice to all the interested parties and issue legal heir certificate. This exercise shall be carried out within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
