The present writ petition has been filed for a mandamus to direct the the respondents to permit the petitioner to continue the next semester (IVth semester) course without re-doing the academic year.

2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the respondents submitted that the prayer has become infructuous. However, the learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the tuition fee, which has been collected by the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P.(MD) No.26037 of 2019 respondents, has got to be refunded for the 4th semester, since even according to the respondents, the petitioner has not studied. Since the prayer itself has become infructuous, this Court has not gone into the said aspect and the writ petition is dismissed as infructous. However, if the petitioner has got any grievance, he is at liberty to approach the appropriate forum. No costs.
