ORDER

The above writ petition has been filed for the issue of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to subdivide the petitioner's property in S.Nos.134/6C and 134/8C at M.Pudupatti (West) Revenue Village, Musiri Taluk, Trichy District and to issue separate patta to the petitioner based on the representation dated 29.08.2023.

2. A perusal of the sale deed, which has been enclosed, clearly indicates that the petitioner has purchased only an undivided share of the property. Therefore, the question of sub-dividing the survey numbers and granting separate patta will not arise until such time as the petitioner has got the properties partitioned by meets and bounds and the property following to the share identified by four boundaries/measurements.

3. Therefore, the Writ Petition is not maintainable and is accordingly dismissed. It is needless to state that as and when the division takes place, it is 2/4

open to the petitioner to approach the Authorities for survey and grant of separate patta. No costs.
