Respondents Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent no.2 to 4 to grant patta to the petitioner land in TS.No.42, 43 Block 12, Ward B, Melur Town, Melur Taluk, Madurai District to an extent of 575 Sqft within the time frame stipulated by this Court.

ORDER

This writ petition is filed for a mandamus to the respondents 2 to 4 to grant patta to the petitioner land in TS.No.42, 43 Block 12, Ward B, Melur Town, Melur Taluk, Madurai District measuring an extent of 575 Sqft.

2. The learned Additional Government Pleader would fairly conceded that the matter is pending before the 1st respondent on the basis of the recommendation of the 3rd respondent and patta would be issued with reference to the correct extent within a period of four weeks.

3. Recording the above, a mandamus is issued to the 1st respondent to grant patta to the petitioner in respect of the petition mentioned property within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

4. With the above directions, this Writ Petition stands allowed. No costs.
