This writ petitioner filed this Writ Petition seeking for issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records relating to the proceedings of impugned order of the 4th respondent in Na.Ka.No. 34/PKT TK PS/2023 dated 04.10.2023 as illegal and violative of the natural justice and consequently direct the 4th respondent to grant permission and protection for conducting Horse Race on 28.10.2023 at about 7.00 pm at Muthupettai Road, Anaikadu.

The learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner submitted that Horse Race on 28.10.2023 at about 7.00 pm at Muthupettai Road, Anaikadu, was arranged, for which, they sought permission of the Police by giving a representation. But, the fourth respondent has considered and rejected the said representation on 04.10.2023. Challenging the same, the writ petitioner has come before this Court for the above said relief.

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents would submit that the respondents have received the representation of the writ petitioner and the same was rejected on the ground that no proper permission has been obtained from the Animal Husbandry Department and the Highways Department, since the above said proposed road is come under Highways Department and heavily traffic area.
5. Let the petitioner get proper permission from the Animal Husbandry Department as well as the Highways Department for conducting horse race. After obtaining permission from the above said departments, the representation if made by the petitioner shall be considered by the respondents.

6. With the above said directions, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
